Frequently Asked Questions

General

Q: What is Fanami?

A: Fanami is a media brand that creates art, stories, and videos featuring our characters and their personalities in a fictional world known as Fandoma. It is created by Smash HIT! Entertainment, and consists of the Fangirl & Friends brand, among others created by the beloved Asami Metz.

Q: Is Fanami made for kids?

A: No, but we're not saying its made for adults, either. Simply put, Fanami is for general audiences. It's not made to educate or influence the actions of young children. Please note that our media may contain: violence with fictional blood and gore, mild language (hell, damn, etc), and topics that children may not fully understand.

Q: Will you reveal any personal info (names, location, phone number, etc.)?

A: No, we will not reveal any personal info on Fanami alumni, location, etc due to personal and legal reasons.

Q: Is "Asami Metz" the real name of the creator?

A: No. The name is used as a "cover up" of the real name.

Q: Can I use your characters in my works?

A: Yes, but your work must NOT contain: Intense violence with realistic blood and gore, sexual or fetish content (remember, EVERY character that we make is a MINOR by US law, meaning that they're 17 and under), drugs, alcohol, and tobacco content, political content, and other content not specified. Also, make sure you mention us or our social media accounts when submitting your work. If you fail to comply with these standards, WE MAY TAKE ACTION AGAINST YOU.

Social Media

Q: What social media accounts do you have?

A: We have a YouTube account, a Tumblr account, a DeviantArt account, and a Wattpad account. You can check them out on our homepage.

Q: What's your YouTube schedule?

A: We don't have a definitive schedule, yet. However, we do try to upload at least one video a week.

Q: I love how your characters look in the videos! How do you make them?

A: We use construction paper (and a pinch of cuteness) to bring our illustrated characters to life! As the models get worn out over time, we'll try to make updated models as soon we're able to.

Q: What editing software do you use for your videos?

A: For general editing, we use an app called "YouCut." For thumbnails and drawings, we use Sketch. All Gacha segments are made with Gacha Club, and all music is created in BandLab.
